Hello, I am Alfred, the housekeeper ! I am passionate about the heritage of my region. In this old water tower, I invite you to explore the unique and intimate space I have created, where each corner is designed for you to enjoy a moment of relaxation and escape with your partner. To maintain the authenticity of the experience in this old water tower, we haven’t installed an elevator... but I promise you : the climb to your nest will reward you with a breathtaking view!
Dreaming of a romantic evening under the stars ? Why not indulge in an evening in the outdoor jacuzzi? With a panoramic view over the entire region, including the impressive railway viaduct of the Gueule Valley, Akwadom is the ideal place for a magical moment for two.
Need to relax ? Enjoy the indoor garden 15 meters above the ground and let the sun rays caress your face while gentle music plays as you unwind in the hanging chair.

I’ve compiled answers to frequently asked questions to help you prepare for your romantic escape to Akwadom.
Akwadom can accommodate up to two people.
A panoramic terrace 18 meters above ground with a jacuzzi and an indoor garden area.
Nothing specific… Just be aware that you'll need to climb seventy steps to reach your accommodation. Don’t worry, you’ll find resting platforms along the way to enjoy the view. In line with its authenticity, the building is not equipped with an elevator or freight lift.
When you get here, you will have:
- Coffee bean and tea machines
- Kitchen utensils including food blender, toaster, kettle
- Dishwashing product
- 2 dish towels
- 2 dishwasher tablets
- 1 dishwashing rag
- 1 raclette machine for 2 people
- A hairdryer
The historic spiral staircase has been preserved in the accommodation. It’s not very wide, so the most practical option would be a backpack or a small, easy-to-carry suitcase for your personal belongings.
The premises are not at all suitable for the movement of animals within the holiday home. These are therefore not allowed.
The nearest station is Welkenraedt. The bus line serving the region is the 710. The nearest bus stop "Montzen Cité", is located exactly 1km from the holiday home.
Even if I would like to be able to favour this mode of transport, I must admit that it is not particularly easy.
